Those are words that best describe what I enjoyed the whole time last week on a retreat camp up in Cameron Highlands, Malaysia (about 10 hours away from Singapore by bus). The country’s premier hill resort looks so simple and small, yet lovely and intriguing. No skyscrapers to compete with the blue sky and the stars!
According to Wikipedia, Cameron is some 5000 ft above sea level (the highest area on the mainland) with temperatures no higher than 25°C and rarely falling below 6°C year round. Named after a British colonial government surveyor who discovered the plateau in 1885, it became famous for its tea plantations among other attractions.
It was truly a blast. I came back to the bustling city of Singapore refreshed, alive, and loving moments of my life! Cheers!:-)
